A Life as a Multipotentialite
I am a multipotentialite, a term you may have rarely heard. According to Wikipedia, “Multipotentiality” refers to individuals with a wide range of interests and activities, driven by strong intellectual curiosity and creativity across various fields.
I don’t necessarily see myself as excelling in multiple areas. Rather, beyond any result—whether outstanding or mediocre—I believe that a deep passion lies at the core of everything I choose to dedicate my time to.
In an era where the world is rapidly evolving, there is a growing recognition of the value of people like me.
We are those individuals who see connections where others see only divisions, who adapt quickly to change, and who possess an insatiable thirst for continuous learning. In this context, we may not be specialists in the traditional sense, but we are certainly specialists in connecting, adapting, and evolving.
Ikigai (生き甲斐) is the Japanese equivalent of Italian expressions like “reason for being” or “reason for living” It refers to having a purpose in life—the reason that makes life worth living.
It is the driving force behind voluntary and spontaneous actions that give meaning to one’s existence.
I chose to place this concept at the heart of my online communication because I believe it’s essential for everyone to have at least a basic understanding of their own path.
My path? Guiding others—even if only by inspiring them through the things I learn and share.
